Kristina’s Plan Backfires, Sasha Plans Her Escape & Sonny Prepares for War

July 9 was a dramatic day in General Hospital. Relationships were tested, secrets leaked, and some characters reached their breaking point.

Kristina’s scheme is beginning to crumble. She convinced Cody to seduce Ava, but now Cody’s caught real feelings. Ava slapped him after he kissed her, but she also said it was a “good kiss” and asked him to stay. Molly almost caught on to their secret, but Kristina brushed it off.

Meanwhile, Drew and Kai had a serious talk at the pool. Drew appreciated Kai warning him about Curtis’ ambush. But now Kai may have to confess his involvement to Trina if the truth comes out.

Curtis’ world keeps unraveling. Jordan told him she’s stepping away from his life out of respect for his marriage. He called her a “class act,” but both looked heartbroken.

At the gallery, Ava and Trina got ready for their big art show. Cody arrived early to help and flirted with Ava, despite Kristina’s warnings.

Meanwhile, Liz set clear boundaries with Ric. He wants to go to Ava’s show with her — just as friends — and Liz agreed, cautiously.

Sasha, haunted by fear for her baby Daisy, decided to leave Port Charles. She believes someone is gaslighting her, and even though Michael supports her, he’s worried.

Sonny was furious after learning Sidwell may be behind the fire that nearly killed Kristina. He and Jason plotted a response, while Carly begged him not to start another war.

And in a twist ending, Sasha prepared to disappear with her baby, but Michael said he couldn’t let her go. Carly warned Sonny: if he strikes back, more lives could be lost.
